Up for sale is an ultra rare vintage Casio AE-60W men’s digital alarm chronograph sports watch, powered by module 187. Released during the 1980s for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM), this distinctive model combines digital precision with an analog-style display—an iconic example of Casio’s innovative design era. The backlight is not functioning, but all other features and functions of the watch are working properly, including the time, date, alarm, chronograph, dual time, and timer. The watch is fitted with an aftermarket stainless steel bracelet, which complements the design nicely. Casio began not with watches but with calculation. Tadao Kashio founded Kashio Seisakujo in Tokyo in 1946, and with his three brothers developed the 14-A in 1957, the world's first compact all-electric relay calculator, incorporating the business as Casio Computer Co. that same year.
